Delicious INKtegrity designs

Hi!

I'm a Guest Designer for the month of December. And I wanted to share
with you some awesome designs by INKtegrity.

They're just so delish! I could just eat them up.

Gingerbread House Sundae
Materials Used:
Stamps: Inktegrity Gingerbread house Sundae
Paper: Wausau White Cardstock, CM Pink Cardstock, Heidi Grace Designs Double Sided Cardstock Paper Jolly & Bright/Mini Dots
Ink: Bic Mark-Its, Sharpies, Copics
Accessories: Bazzill Basics Ribbon Red Dashed, Quickutz Nesting Label
Love the brad and ribbon I used on this next card. They just reminds me
of a mint. Don't recall who made the brad but I believe I got it at Archiver's
sometime within the last 3 years. And the ribbon came from Micheal's within
the same time frame. The only reason I know that is because I joined my
meetup group and started scrapping/crafting on Feb 7, 2007.

Minty Sundae
Materials Used:
Stamps: Inktegrity Minty Sundae, Somethings
Paper: Wausau White Cardstock, CM Aquamarine, Pink Cardstock, Sassafras Life is Beautiful "Fawd of you too", Bo Bunny A Gift of Love Tis The Season Treasure
Ink: Bic Mark-Its, Sharpies, Copics
Accessories: Crayola Glitter Glue, CM Circle Shapemakers Small & Large, CCS Oval

Here's a close up of this sundae you can see all the glitter much better.
close up of Minty Sundae

These images will be available for purchase at the INKtegrity store on
Wednesday just in time for Christmas card making. For those of us who
haven't made our Christmas cards for this year yet.

Also my Minty Sundae is part of a challenge over at Dare You To Digi Stamp,
it's DU2DS Challenge 26 - Glitter.

Changed Background

Hi!

I had to, as the Volturi would, say Arrivederci to my blog background.

But don't worry it or something equally as Gothic will be up just in time
for Twilight: Eclipse to arrive.

Although, I did like the background so I may bring it back for Valentine's
Day. After all Twilight is a good romance novel.

I mean it's boy meets girl. Boy loses girl (after his brother tries to devour
her). Boy gets girl back(after she rescues him from nearly exposing himself). Girl
is in a love triangle with boy and another boy(darn wolf boy).
*Spoiler alert*
Boy wins girl (and they get married). Girl gets pregnant and then turns into Vampire.
Boy and girls baby imprints on other boy.
*End of Spoiler alert*

Besides, I had to tone it down a little because starting next week I will
have the halls decked for Christmas.

Happy Crafting.

Gingerbread House

Hi!

I have some exciting news to share.

I've been asked to be Inktegrity's December Guest Designer.

wonderful gal. I got a chance to work with her when I was on the

a freebie on the Inktegrity blog.

And I did a variation on the sketch over at Our Creative Corner, it's
SASSC41. They are currently holding a Design Team call. And I wish
to be considered for it.

So onto my card:

Hi!

Sorry, I didn't realize that I was late.

Operation Write Home (OWH) is an organization that coordinates the efforts of cardmakers all over the country in supplying our troops overseas with handmade cards that these heroes can send to their loved ones back home. I've been a big fan since I became aware of them during the last blog hop, and I'm so excited that to be participating in the Veteran's Day Blog Hop! For more information on OWH, and to learn how to send your own cards, please visit their very comprehensive site.

If you need to go back to the beginning of the hop - click here to get started. Make sure you stop back here! :)

We were asked to do an Any Hero card. I posted this earlier this week you can find the deets here.

Be on your guard

soldier card
Hi!

This is my Sunday Scripture card.

Due to what happened on Thursday I felt like I needed to make a card for
the troops.

You see I live in Austin, which is less than 2 hours away from Ft. Hood. If you
haven't heard there was an awful incident that occured. I won't go into detail
because I know I won't do it justice. But it was terrible and to imagine that it
didn't happen overseas but right here at home and on a military base at that.

The sentiment that I chose is:
soldier card inside

Also, I was visiting Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenges.

Their scripture for this week is:
John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay his life for his friends."

This is Challenge# 12.

Part of the challenge is also to send this card to Operation Write Home. And for
an extra challenge send cards to OWH.

Materials Used:
Stamps: Firecracker Designs So Far Away
Paper: Doodlebug Designs Baseball Stripe
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Ribbon Impressions Red & Blue Gingham

Tragedy close to home

Hi!

I don't know if you've heard. It definitely made the news here.

You see I live in Cedar Park, well the suburbs of Austin, TX. And this tragedy took place just up the road a piece in Ft Hood. It's less than 2 hours away.

This is President Obama's address shortly after hearing about this tragedy which was
committed on one of the largest US military bases. At the time that I left work
12 were confirmed dead, 31 seriously injured. And the people that committed this terrible act were US military too.

Support Fort Hood families
Soldiers' Angels is assessing the needs of local families and heroes at Fort Hood. Their founder is currently residing in Texas, and is standing by to offer physical and emotional support to our heroes and their families.

Soldiers' Angels is collecting encouraging notes and NEW stuffed animals for the families and children of the injured or killed. Please send cards/letters and stuffed animals (and anything NEW that may brighten the life of a child) to:

Blog Schedule - Changes

Hi!

I realize that it was less then a month ago that I came up with the Blog Schedule
but I need to make changes to it.

For the most part it will remain the same.

Only a couple of minor tweeks if you will.

Monday - will remain Tutorial Day. Basically, I will either share my own tutorial
or a tutorial I've found with you.

Wednesday - Card day, just because we all need a little inspiration to get us
through the week day hump.

Friday - will be Dear Cr8ive ME day, basically a day where I'll share questions
that I get along with the answers

Sunday - Scripture day, I will share a creation with you that day with a bible
verse on it.

I will share Blog Candy with you periodically, basically as soon as I hear about
it I will share it with you.

The first of the month will be when I post what classes I'm offering for the month.
This info will remain at the top of my blog until after the class.

Also, as I have been asked to join The Stamping Boutique's DT I will be sharing
all the wonderful images from them. It is a great honor for me to have been asked
to join the DT. And I can't wait to share with you all.

Happy Crafting.
