Back to being Naughty

Bombshell Betty Card
Hi!

I wanted to change things up a bit after being so good for Christmas.

Did Santa bring you anything good?

He brought me a Quickutz Silhouette. I can't wait to start using it.

I created this card for a swap I am participating in over at SCS. It's called
It's all about Women. And the sketch also came from SCS, it's Sketch Challenge 255.

And since Christmas is over for another year. I figured now would
be the perfect time to be a little naughty.

I showed this card off to dh and he said she reminds him of Bettie Page.

Here's a video in case you don't know who she is.

Bettie Page
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bettie Page (April 22, 1923 – December 11, 2008)[2] was an American model who became famous in the 1950s for her fetish modeling and pin-up photos. She has often been called the "Queen of pinups".[3] Her look, including her jet black hair and trademark bangs, has influenced many artists.

She was also one of the earliest Playmates of the Month for Playboy magazine. "I think that she was a remarkable lady, an iconic figure in pop culture who influenced sexuality, taste in fashion, someone who had a tremendous impact on our society,"[4] Playboy founder Hugh Hefner told the Associated Press.

That's why I'd say she's a little naughty. But don't all men like a woman who is?

Materials Used:
Stamps: Bombshell Stamps Bombshell Angel

Donny Osmond sings Mary Did you know

This is one of my favorite Christmas songs.

It's not your typical Christmas song but that's probably why it is one of my favorites.

It's not just about his birth but the whole life of Christ..

And that is the reason for the season.

Merry Christmas.

Christmas is just a week away

I can't believe it.

Boy do I want it to get here.

And yes, I do realize that I had promised to do a 12 cards of Christmas here on
the blog but I've just been so exhausted all month and nauseated to.

My girlfriends were all teasing me last night about taking a test.

No, I haven't done it yet. Although, I probably should.

I mean I'm so exhausted that I can't even motivate myself to craft. I was
supposed to finish making cards for a card swap last night with my group and
since I've been so exhausted I wasn't able to do it.

Plus, right now Santa wants me to be good and not naughty which I was last month.

I spent not only last month's allowance but this month's all last month.

And Santa told a little bird to whisper to me that if I'm good I'll be getting a
Quickutz Silhouette for Christmas.

So that's another reason why I haven't crafted this month.

But I promise to do much better in the New Year.

In fact, I signed up to do the Christmas Card Challenge in 2010 on SCS. So
we'll have a new Christmas card once a month throughout the year.

Do you know what Santa is bringing you or do you have a New Year's Resolution?

I just love The Greeting Farm stamps. I don't have as many of the sets as
I would like to have.

I did let Santa know that I'd like the TGF sets that look similar to the Cullens
from my fave book series Twilight. If Santa could turn back time I would
totally get the TGF set that came out just before New Moon.

Today I used some of my TGF digi stamps.

Christmas Wish Blog Hop

Hi!

Welcome to the Christmas Wish Blog Hop sponsored by Michelle Perkett Studio!

If you've just happened upon my blog you can click HERE to start.

Otherwise you should have just come from Pattie's blog. Didn't she do a
fantastic job!

Wishing angel card
Materials Used:
Stamps: Michelle Perkett Studio Wishing Star Angel
Ink: Bic Mark-It Honey Brown, Woodsy Brown, Midnight Navy, Polynesian Purple, Plumtastic Purple, Misty Blue, Pink Flamingo, Yellow Blaze, Lemon Bliss, Sharpies, Copic W2 Warm Gray No. 2, YG11 Mignonette, RV13 Tender Pink, R00 Pinkish White, E00 Skin White
Accessories: Bowdabra Bow Wire, Bazzill Basics Ribbon Black Dashed

My Christmas Wish is for a dear friend of my hubby's family. First, let me tell
you about his family. They let my hubby live with them his Junior and Senior year
of High School because his parents were busy moving the rest of the family
across the country. (That was the year his oldest brother, grandmother, youngest
sister and parents moved from various locations in the US to other locations in the
US.) And my hubby's parents were going to settle down here in Austin, TX. Well
they sent my hubby down here first and they didn't want to leave him completely
by himself with no one to parent him. So he moved in with this family, they also
had 2 twin boys about my hubby's age. So he's practically a 2nd dad to my
hubby. In fact, when we first were married we moved into the same ward as his
family and he and his wife were so kind to us and helped us to fit right in.

Well, recently he was in a car accident. And is now paralyzed from the waist
down. The doctor's don't know if he'll walk again. So my
Christmas Wish is that
he will get a Christmas miracle and be able to walk again.

Now onto the lovely and talented Debb. I can't wait to see what she created.

Christmas Ornaments

Hi!

I was inspired to create a card using Our Creative Corner's, Sketch Challenge SASSC42.

It's a beautiful sketch.

I just picked this dp up at Michael's on Monday. They had a coupon where you could
get an additional 10% off your total purchase even on SALE items. They currently have
paper pads and dp on sale this week.

Oh, also I used Crayola's Glitter Glue to make the ornaments shimmery. I think it's a nice
contrast to the background dp.
