AHSC Sketch 22

Hi!

Today is the start of a new week and that means a new sketch over on the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog.

This is today's wonderful sketch over at AHSC.
And here is my interpretation of it

Stamps: CTMH Perfect Fit - Holidays Holiday
Paper: SU! Festival of Prints
Ink: CTMH Archival Black
Accessories: CM Circle Shapemaker, QuicKutz Ginger Boy, Deck the Halls Tree, Regency Baker's Twine, Buttons Galore and More Grab Bag

As you can see I went a little overboard with the circles. But that's the fun of doing a sketch challenge. As long as you can tell that the sketch was used you can go a little crazy with it.

Also I've been trying to come up with Christmas card ideas and ways to use more of that designer paper I have. Trust me, it's definitely more than some people have. And rather then being afraid of using it or having it so long that it's out of style. I figure I may as well try to use it.

So what do you think. Do you like my take on today's sketch?

Do you have a stack of designer paper that you need to go through?

What do you do with the designer paper that you're tired of or that is too old?

Happy Crafting,
M.E.

Love Never Faileth

Hi!

I hope y'all are having a wonderful Sunday.

I wanted to share with you a couple of cards that I created.

They are inspired by the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger: A Little Romance

This is the inspiration picture:

And these are what I was inspired to create:
Stamps: Unity Stamp Company Cowgirl Up
Accessories: SU! Bird Builder punch, Jolee's Boutique Cream Felt Rose
Most of the items came from my stash. And other than that the only other thing I used on both cards was my sewing machine my hubby got me last Christmas.

Today it was a bear to use. The thread just kept coming out of the needle part. Ugh!!!

Don't you just hate when that happens?

Happy Crafting,
M.E.

Get Sketchy

Hi!

Today I have a couple of cards to share with you.

They both are my interpretation of the newest Can You Digi It? blog
challenge which is Challenge #34 - It's Sketchy.

You should definitely come out and play along with us. C.Y.D.I.? is providing a free digi of the sketch.

The first card is also an homage to Doctor Who. As the filmstrip sort of reminded me of a couple of Doctor Who episodes I'd seen featuring the Doctor. But my version has a message from River Song.

Stamps: LilyPink Designs for C.Y.D.I. Love Tags
Ink: Brother Printer, Martha Stewart Writing Pen Ebony
Accessories: Sizzix Filmstrip die, Tim Holtz Alterations Filmstrip Frames

This is my second card. My DH didn't think it represented this week's sketch very well though.

Stamps: C.Y.D.I. Button Card
Ink: Brother Printer, Martha Stewart Writing Pen Ebony
Accessories: Lifestyle Crafts QuicKutz Cutting Dies Nesting Doily Circles, SU! Bitty Banners

Oh, if you're wondering I hand wrote the sentiments for both cards.

Happy Crafting,
M.E.
