Hi!
I've been thinking about this a lot lately.
See I got into CM because I was making albums a lot.
But that's not really where I am in my life right now.
As you can see when you visit my blog. I primarily create
cards. Which I love.
I was discussing this with a friend of mine and she understands
because cards are easier and you can see the result right away.
Whereas creating an album is a process.
Now, I do love CM but really I can't personally afford to keep up
their quota. Which is what I've been doing for the year that I've
been a Consultant for them.
I've been thinking I would probably enjoy doing a Stamping
business instead. I'm actually thinking about The Angel
Company because it's the ease of using and storing acrylic
stamps but it is a rubber stamp which is better for heat
embossing. Both of which I love.
I've mentioned this to dh.
Of course, I'd have to purchase a Consultant kit from TAC but
really that's true of any business. But their quota is much more
workable.
What do you think?
Happy Crafting.
M.E.
i say go for it..
ReplyDeletei did the same thing...scrapped for ages..then took a greater interest in card making..and have been a SU demo ever since...
I love to do both although I don't post any of my scrapbook pages. I'm a SU! Demo and truly love what I do & sharing with others.
ReplyDeleteThe quota doesn't bother me....I was filling it myself when I first started because I didn't think I could find anyone that would be interested....that all changed really fast!
I don't like the acrylic stamps but that's just me....do what's best for you and good luck!!
i started with making cards only, and now im trying scrapbooking. love them both.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of acrylic either - they're not very durable. I like to keep my stamps a long time. Your cards are so great - I think it's a good fit.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious if the TAC quota is lower than SU? Let me know. IS CM higher than SU? I haven't looked in so long.
SU has a payment plan for the kit right now.
