Thinking of Anya

thinking of anya
Hi!

I got to make another card today can you believe it.

This card is based off "Case of The Curious Card IV" over at Splendid Stamping with The Greeting Farm.

And isn't she a cutie. This is my 1st Anya that I've ever owned. She's a digi stamp, which is something I'm really falling in love with, the whole digi stamp fad.

Don't get me wrong, I love my acrylic and rubber stamps too. But, with a digi you get
to pick the size you want. Infact, I had printed her out smaller but changed my mind and decided to go with the more traditional size of the Anyas.

Actually, I hadn't intended for her to be smaller it's just I didn't know which angle she would print at and so I used the size that I use for my Modern Sugar digis.

Oh, and yay! I went to my mil store and she finally had some more skin pigment Copics.

Materials Used:
Stamps: TGF Riding Hood Anya DS, Studio G
Paper: CM Cardstock Honeydew, Scenic Route SR981 Lynden Parkside Court, Sassafras Life is Beautiful "Fawnd of you too" In Love, SU!, Basic Gray
Ink: VersaColor VC-82 Black, Copics R11 Pale Cherry Pink, R00 Pinkish White, E00 Skin White, Bic Mark-its Lime Sorbet, Margarita Green, Oceanview Blue, Blue Skies Blue, Tiki Hut Tan, Honey Brown, Yellow Blaze, Lemon Bliss, Moonstone Yellow, Spica 03 Red
Accessories: Hero Arts Gems

Cutie Pie

Hi!

I created this card for the High Hopes Stamps Guest Designer Call.

I don't currently have any of the High Hopes stamps but they are super cute and I will definitely be ordering some of their stamps soon. I would love to be able to be a Guest Designer for them. This card was designed using the High Hopes Challenge #17 for the sketch.

This stamp and the designer paper that I used are all by Imaginisce. The sentiment stamp is by Studio G and I think it fit perfectly with the cute little fox stamp.

I used my blender pen to color in the cute little fox. And I used this stamp because it reminds me of the stamps that I saw in the High Hopes line.

Oh and I got to try this cool new ribbon from DCWV it's adhesive ribbon. They should have thought of it years ago. Until now I've been running my ribbon through my Xyron to get adhesive on the back in order to cut down on wasting my mono adhesive.

Materials Used:
Stamps: Studio G stamp, Imaginisce Foxy stamp
Paper: CM Cardstock White, SU! Designer paper, Imaginisce Mushroom Fancy, Lady Bug Ball
Ink: VersaColor VC-82 Black, VC-156 Raspberry, SU! Classic More Mustard, Scrappy Cat Chocolate Truffle
Accessories: Blender Pen, Ribbon, DCWV Missy Adhesive Ribbon

Materials Used:
Stamps: Studio G stamp, Imaginisce Skull stamp
Paper: CM Cardstock White, Black, Doodlebug ladybug - sugar coated cardstock

some bunny loves you

Hi!

I created this card using the Card Positioning System CPS102 sketch.

I used papers from my scrap pile.

The bunnies and sentiment were created using my Studio G acrylic stamp set. And the bunnies were created using the same stamp. I stamped the bunny and cut the first one out then I taped that bunny to another scrap of paper to create the 2nd bunny.

Then I used Fun Flock in Cotton Ball White to make the bunnies fuzzy.

I will try to work on some more cards. But I'm pretty tired from getting the root canal this morning.

Materials Used:
Stamps: Studio G
Paper: CM Cardstock White, Pink Lemonade, Cactus
Ink: VersaColor VC-82 Black
Accessories: Flowers, Quickutz Nesting Flowers CC-FLOWERS-01, Stampendous Fun Flock Cotton Ball White, Target See Spot Save brad, Fiskars Threading Water Scalloped punch

dove love

Hi!

I love this card. Mostly because it uses a lot of punches and die cuts.

The hearts are made with my Sweet Heart Maker (Creative
Memories). The doves are Martha Stewart, I got them at the after
Christmas sale at Micheal's.

The stamp is by Studio G. The Glitter Glue on the hearts in the stamp
is also by Studio G.

I used the Sketches! by tamara Card Sketch #81 to create this card.

Materials Used:
Stamps: Studio G
Paper: CM Cardstock Cranberry, White, Doodlebug Glitter Cupcake cardstock
Ink: VersaColor VC-82 Black, Studio G Glitter Glue
Accessories: Quickutz Nesting Flowers CC-FLOWERS-01, SU! Ticket Corner punch, Martha Stewart Dove punch, CM Sweet Heart Maker, CM Tearing Tool, SU! button

Cupcake love

Hi!

I'm so excited I just got my Amuse acrylic Cupcake set so of course, I had to use it.

I also used this sentiment from a Studio G acrylic set.

cupcake love - closeupI paper pieced the cupcake and used Fabric Applique for the cupcake top.

I took the Cuttlebug Challenge to make a Love Card with Cuttlebug. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder to create the background.

I also took the Recipe Challenge #34 on Sketches! by Tamara for this card too. The cupcake is sitting on Quickutz Nesting Flowers CC-FLOWERS-01. The brads are on the title. I think the brads are super cute and this is my first chance to use these brads. And the ribbon is under the die cut.

Thank you for looking.

Stamps: Amuse Clear Stamps Cupcake Set, Studio G
Paper: CM Cardstock Raspberry, White
Ink: VersaColor VC-82 Black, Fabric Applique, atyouSpica Twinkling like Stars 03 Red, 12 Silver, SU! Classic stampin' spot Basic Black

Time to Relax

Time to Relax, originally uploaded by mardriggs.

Hi!

Since I'm not feeling well today. It was time that I relaxed and this is the perfect card for that.

I love these designer papers, although I don't remember who made them. They remind me of the Lilly Pulitzer line. Which I think is just fresh and summery.

I created this card for the Stamp Something Challenge - Summer in Winter Somethings.

I used the card sketch challenge on Card Positioning System CPS#100

Materials Used:
Stamps: Studio G stamp
Paper: Archiver's Cardstock Ivory, CM Cardstock White, Honeydew, Taffy, Pink Lemonade
Ink: VersaColor VC-82 Black, Copic YG11 Mignonette, RV13 Tender Pink
Accessories: ribbon

You're so sweet

You're so sweet, originally uploaded by mardriggs.

Hi!

I created this adorable card for the 2s4y challenge - Laura's Sketch 18 and Sketches! Recipe Challenge #33.

I used some items that I hadn't really gotten a chance to play with yet. Like the cupcake holder. It's some paper that my mil gave me when I first started scrapping and I just never had a chance to use it because it's shimmer type of paper. The ribbon because I do cards more now and like to have them all look the same and I just don't have enough of the ribbon to make as many cards as I usually do.

The buttons were a gift from my Secret Santa and I just got my Glaze pens.

Materials Used:
Stamps: Studio G stamp
Paper: CM Cardstock White, Taffy, Cactus, Honeydew, Doodlebug Glitter Cupcake cardstock

Ink: Marvy Brush Marker No. 18 dark brow, Glaze pens by Sakura
Accessories: ribbon, SU! buttons

VSN Flirtation

Hi!

I created this card for the VSN Flirtation the challenge was "Cast away".

The challenge is to use scraps of paper to create a card, but it's to be smaller than traditional card size.

My card is 3 1/2x 5 1/2. Since, I only use CM cardstock and it comes in only 12x12 and 8x8. My cast away is bigger than normal scrapling size.

I just bought this stamp at JoAnn's in the $1 bin. I just can't pass up a cute stamp and you can't beat a $1.

I will definitely have some more cards up tomorrow through out the day for the VSN Crush. And next month is the actual VSN.

Materials Used:
Stamps: $1 Stamp from JoAnne's
Paper: CM Cardstock Taffy
Ink: VersaColor VC-82 Black
Techniques: Cutltlebug Swiss Dots Embossing folder

Cheers!

Hi!

I love this card and I think it fits with the time of the year that we are in because I think that all Holiday parties should cease for the December/January month.

Plus, it helps me to do one of my New Year's Resolutions which is to use my stamp sets.

I've had this set for a while but just hadn't actually gotten a chance to use it yet.

This card was made for the SCS FS Challenge.

This is the card that I cased.
Girls Night Out

Stamps: Micheal's $1 stamp, SU! Background Basics
Paper: CM Cardstock White
Ink: VersaColor VC-156 Raspberry, Scrappy Cat Vanilla Frosting

Wednesday Card Sketch Challenge

Hi!

I did this card for the SCS Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I really wanted to use my cute pink butterfly paper and I love the ribbon (which I got from Archiver's Hot Spot). Oh and I finally got a chance to use my Stickles on the butterfly stamp.

I just love Stickles but haven't figured out a way to use them in my designs until now.

I am always looking for awesome deals on scrap supplies. And with all the great sales going on BF, it's the perfect time to shop for them while shopping for those on your Christmas list. I definitely have to try and hit Micheal's, JoAnne's, Hobby Lobby, or Archiver's this weekend because we're doing Secret Santa in my scrapbook group.

For the banner that the butterfly is flying I stamped on a second sheet of paper and raised the banner up with Glue Dots. Just to give it more of a visual effect.

This is the sketch that I got from SCS.

It was a lot of fun trying to go by the sketch when creating this card.

This might be my last post until Monday. It depends on how Thanksgiving goes. However, we will be at my mil's house and since she is a big scrapbooker with her own room for all her scrap tools and her office with her albums. I might be able to come up with something.

If I don't see ya'll tomorrow I wanted to be sure to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

Materials Used
Stamps: Acrylic stamp set I found in Micheal's $1 bin
Ink: VersaColor VC-82 Black
Accessories: ribbon (from Hot Spot at Archiver's) and Pink Stickles
