Hi!
Today begins a new Midweek Papercraft Party! It's actually the first papercraft party of 2014!
For this week's party the theme is Pink or Blue!
I chose to go with pink for my creation. What do you think?
If you have a chance to play along with your digital stamps, we'd love to see what you create.

Let it Snow
Hi!
I hope y'all are having a wonderful Thanksgiving/Hannukah season.
This week over at the Handmade Harbour blog we have started a new Midweek Papercraft Party (15).
Our party theme this week is Winter Fun...
I went with a simple but stylish and effective card, using Christmas digital tags and sentiments.
If you have a chance between having Thanksgiving, Black Friday, shopping, playing dreidel, and lighting the menorah, this week to create a winter themed project using a digital image. We'd love to see it over at the Handmade Harbour blog.
Happy Crafting,
M.E.

Witches Brew
Hi!
Today begins a NEW Midweek Papercraft Party.
The challenge this time is to create something using the theme "Happy days".
And with All Hallow's Eve just around the corner. I couldn't think of a happier day then Halloween.
Witch(is it a typo?) brought to my mind witches.
And what make witches happier then casting a spell together?
Especially under a bright and shining moon.
Well, maybe being naked under the moonlight casting spells. But I try to run a clean blog here so no nudity.
I accomplished the look of this card with a post-it, my CM Custom Cutting System, and a CTMH sponge.
What do you think?
If you have a chance to play with us this week over at the Handmade Harbour blog. We'd love to see what the "Happy days" theme inspires you to create.
Happy Crafting,

Let's Go Somewhere
Hi!
Today's challenge over at the Can You Digi It? blog is
I still have photos from my last vacation that need to be put into scrapbooks.
But I will have to say the best part of our last vacation was that my hubby got me a wonderful journal to keep all my memories in.
So the minute I heard about this challenge I was reminded of my journal and was inspired to create this one.
If you have a chance over the next two weeks to play along in this challenge we'd love to see what you create. Please remember to use a digi and make sure it has something to do with travel.
Happy Crafting,
M.E.

Live Each Moment
Hi!
Today begins a NEW challenge over on the Handmade Harbour blog.
The theme of our challenge is - Smile (or laugh!)
Now I don't know about you but when I think of smiling cameras come to mind.
Which is what I used for inspiration of today's card.
I know that this card is a bit CAS but I think it is very dramatic. And if you've been reading my blog for a while you'll recognize that CAS is totally my style.
And I just LOVE this camera stamp from Handmade Harbour. I've got so many different ideas of what to do with it.
What do you think? Do you like this card?
Happy Crafting,

Not a Christmas in July
Hi!
I've noticed lately that so many people do Christmas in July posts on their blog.
Well that's just not my style. It's not that I don't make Christmas cards.
But the one card that I rarely do create has got to be Hanukkah cards.
It's probably because it's been a while since I've been to a Hanukkah party. And yes we
do have Jews down here in Texas. And they even invite their friends to their Hanukkah celebration.
Of course, being Texans we do things a bit different. Rather then playing the traditional
dreidel game we played Texas Hold'em dreidel.
Yesterday the newest challenge over on the Can You Digi It? blog was announced and it's Holiday hullabaloo.
And here is my card that I created for the challenge.
If you have an opportunity to play along with our challenge in the next two weeks we'd love to see your creation. Remember it needs to use a digi image, which can be a stamp, sentiment, or paper. And has to go along with our Holiday hullabaloo challenge.
Happy Crafting,
M.E.

Love on Film
Hi!
Now don't get scared. I know the title I picked is a bit misleading.
Actually, no film was used for the creating of today's project.
Although it does definitely reflect love.
This week over at the Can You Digi It? blog we have a new challenge.
In honor of Valentine's Day the CYDI Challenge #29 is "Love is in the Air".
For my creation I used the Love Tags set by LilyPink Designs along with
my Sizzix Filmstrip die.
I just love how it turned out. It does sort of remind me of those old classic movies.

One last card standing
Hi!
OK, so my card isn't really standing it's more laying down. But it's mostly so my cards actually look good for my pics. My DH gave me the idea.
Most of my pics that I take standing usually look all funny. My hubby says that's because you can see they're open and it makes it look that way.
So Thursday was the last day to turn in your submissions for the tryout round of Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing. They will announce on Monday who goes onto the next round. I sure wish I could be one of the lucky ones picked.
Well, today I'm going to CKC San Marcos. Yeehaw! I can't wait to see all the goodies and do the make-n-takes. I didn't sign up for any classes but will definitely make sure my phone is fully charged so I can take pics of the class examples. And maybe if DH is being nice I can borrow the camera.
I'll try to take some pics if I can.
Hope y'all have a great weekend and maybe I'll see you at CKC. I'm only going today, Friday, and DH and I will be visiting my folks tomorrow, Saturday.
Happy crafting,
M.E.

Butterflies
Hi!
I made one last card for the Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing contest.
I wanted to try something different for me which is to NOT color on my card. I've seen this technique done all over the blogosphere and even in magazines but this is my first attempt at it.
Stamps: Taylored Expressions digis
What do you think? Have you tried this technique?
Hope you're having a great evening.
Happy crafting,

Last Card Standing
Hi!
I wanted to share with y'all this fun card that I created for Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing contest over on SCS.
It's like a card making version of AGT, which is one of my hubby and my fave shows. Can you believe how awesome those Alote dogs act was!?! Personally we feel that Todd Oliver, the ventriloquist with the Boston Terrier should have been in the top 6.
Although, I don't actually own any of Taylored Expressions stamps. They were super nice and provided digi stamps over on SCS. You can view more of the wonderful cards created for this fun competition over at SCS by searching for "TELASTCARD".
The prize package for the winner is an amazing prize package that includes a 3 month subscription to the Key Ingredients kit club, plus 2 full size stamp sets of the winners choice and a coveted Guest Designer spot for the November/December release!
Happy crafting,

Happy Wednesday Drama Queen
Hi!
Happy Wednesday!
Yay! Just 2 more days till Friday.
Today I have The Digi Shack's Wednesday Sketch Challenge to share with you.
I used Monday's Digi Shack FREEbie image. Yup, you heard me right it's a FREEbie
image and you can find it here. But hurry cause FREEbies don't last for long. But
no worries as this will go up in the shop for the low, low price of $1.
The background is some scrap from one of my SU! packs. Let me just say thank
goodness for double-sided paper, it just makes it easier for a crafter to craft.
Happy Crafting.

Little Mermaid gift card
Hi!
Today The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring I Love Cupcake Craft Challenges.
It's Challenge 88 - Don't be Square. Hence the reason the mermaid is in a circle
card.
I just love this image from TSB. Her name is Dawn and she can be found here
among the "Enchantment" line.
The card uses all scraps and is a scrapling card.
Happy Crafting.

Michelle Perkett Studio Earth Day Blog Hop
Welcome to the Michelle Perkett Studio Earth Day Blog Hop!!
You should have just visited Claire's blog. If not you should definitely start
the hop at Michelle Perkett's blog.
We are so glad you joined us!!
To celebrate Earth Day all of us participating were to create something using only recycled material (other than ink and markers/paint)and to get creative with our recycled plastic, paper, cardboard and whatever we liked, as long as its recycled!!:)
Also, there must be some green in each design as well!
I am so happy to be able to participate and do my part in celebrating Earth Day!!:)
Your next stop is Ileana's blog!! Enjoy all the wonderful entries and please leave a comment on everyone's blog that you visit and let them know how much you appreciate their Earth Day creations!!:)
Some details about this card. The image within the tag is backed by chipboard which I got from
the back of a notepad. And the flowers which I've punched out are from a Victoria's Secret shopping bag. The card base is a scrapling, you see I prefer to purchase 12 x 12 designer and
card stock. The card measures 4 x 5 1/2.

Celebrate
Hi!
Happy Wednesday to you!
Yes, I'm still feeling a bit sick so no work for me today.
But I did get a chance to play a little.
Plus, I found out I didn't exactly get the job I was interviewing
for. Oh, well.
At least the birds are singing, the sun is shining, and I'm not
running a high fever today. Trust me that wasn't pretty, I was
having some horrible delusions and trouble breathing.
Today is Sketchbook Wednesday over at The Digi Shack. You've
just got to see the amazing cards that the DT came up with and
can you believe it Toni even participated with an adorable take
on a Mother's Day card. She used an image that hasn't yet been
released to even the DT. So you definitely will want to check that
out.
Oh and don't forget you can participate with us too! You can even
use the image that I used on my card above. It was Monday's
FREEbie and it's still available for FREE. But hurry cause the FREEbies
don't stay up for long. But don't worry it will still be available for
the low price of $1 after that though.
For today's card of course I used the Sketchbook Challenge sketch
but I also took a little inspiration from Sketches! {by tamara} with
using this week's Challenge # 115 - Recipe Challenge. Which was to
use
- Brads
- Buttons
- The Color Blue
Well the ribbon, buttons, and brads along with the sentiment stamp came from my stash.
Happy Crafting.

Manic Monday Freebie Fun Day
Hi!
I wanted to let you all know there's a wonderful freebie available today over at
The Digi Shack blog.
I personally haven't had a chance to work with it yet as I've been sick since
I got outta work on Saturday.
I can barely talk so I had my dh call my manager this morning and the owner
tonight. I did manage to make a call this morning to the owner to let him know
I was having trouble getting ready. It took me 20 minutes to get myself into the
shower this morning. So no crafting fun for me today. Hopefully tomorrow I will
feel well enough to craft.
Happy Crafting.

HoPpY EaStEr
Hi!
Today I created 2 cards to wish you all a HoPpY EaStEr.
Both of these cards use a lot of the same elements. But are definitely
unique and different in there own way.
For the 2nd card I used this awesome template I found over at House
of Stir Fry. It's their Egg Card Template.
Last week as you recall TDS had a shape card challenge. And today
they're hosting a sketch card challenge. So in honor of both I'm
bringing you 2 cards.
You should definitely come and play along with today's challenge over
at the The Digi Shack.

Paper: CM Cardstock Raspberry, Studio 8 Paper Company Easter Collection Egg Hunt

What's Cookin'?
Hi!
Today The Stamping Boutique and Creative Belli Blog are cooking up some
fun today.
Yup, that's right TSB is sponsoring Creative Belli Blog's challenge for
today which is Belli #88 Color Spray.
To create my background paper for this challenge I used some overexposed photo
paper that was given to my mil. You could definitely use regular photo paper or
even glossy paper. You know me I'm always trying to reuse and recycle. I also used
Tim Holtz's Adirondack ink and some Blender.
Materials Used:
Stamps: The Stamping Boutique Audrey The Chef
Paper: CM Cardstock Taffy
Ink: Copics, Sharpies, Bic Mark-its, Adirondack Ink Oregano, Red Pepper, Mushroom
Happy Crafting.
